The Bar Hill cycleway runs from the southern end of Bar Hill to the nearby village of Dry Drayton. For cyclists and pedestrians it serves two useful purposes. Firstly, it's a far a more pleasant and safer route into and out of Bar Hill, compared with the main road which motorists are forced to use. Secondly, it's a backup for when the nearby A14 gets all snarled up, which it's prone to do.
The cache is placed close to the cycleway on the edge of Dry Drayton. It can be easily accessed on foot, by bicycle or car, although disabled people will need help retrieving it from its hiding place. It should make a good walk from Bar Hill for those with younger children.
The container is a large, camouflaged clip-lock box which is big enough to hold trackables and swaps.
