Geocache Description:

My first hide!

The Back 40 (orange trail markers) trail at Teatown Reservation was always my favorite hike.  This trail has been re-routed and is now called Twin Lakes. The cache coordinates have been updated to its new location. At Teatown Reservation, all geocachers must check in to the administration building before seeking the cache and the administration building is open dawn to dusk daily. Far less crowded than the more popular Lakeside trail, the summit affords the hiker a nice NNW view.  Once you get to the open area underneath the power lines, you are close to the cache.  Don't be afraid of the electrical buzz, you don't need to go near the power lines to find the cache.  Once found, I would invite you to sit and take in the view.  If you sit for 5 - 10 minutes, you are guaranteed to see some hawks circling above.

You are looking for a medium-sized lock-in-lock camoed tupperware container.  Be aware the power lines may cause some jump in the GPS. Use geocaching sense! The cache is not in plain view, you must search!  Inside there is an activated FTF coin, a log book, pencil, and some other tradeable items.

This was my first hide so I would welcome any constructive feedback.  Thanks and enjoy!
