Geocache Description:

Welcome to a great piece of Nashville history...*the* Lockeland Spring! There aren't any signs to alert you (yet) so bring a flashlight for the trail if it's late and don't forget a sense of adventure.

You can park on either side of the currently developing Lockeland Spring Park and wander in, enjoying he overhanging foliage in the process. The park is surrounded by residential houses but the neighbors are used to a few cars parked along the road. While you wander through, keep an eye out for deer, owls and the occasional tick. There are lots of newly planted trees (all marked with colorful ribbons) so be careful not to step on them.

During the wet season you'll probably want close-toed shoes but otherwise a pair of sandals will do just fine. The large trees overhanging the park have a tendency to block out a lot of the light so bring a flashlight if you're coming through at dawn or dusk.

Don't stray too far from the trails as the cache will be along one of them in a clear tupperware container.
