Keep To The Shadows - Dept.

Silicon Valley is rife with espionage. As one who knows, let me tell you a little about it.
You don't know me. Nobody does, for very long. Except my superiors, who only hand down my directives by carrier pigeon, micro dot in candy wrapper or cryptic content in an otherwise innocuous Geocache page.
I have to keep to the underground, the shadowy world of intrigue, lest the Black Spy or White Spy find me. They're usually so accommodating; working each other over with devious traps, weapons or poisons; that I can go about my business. But now and then one of them comes after me and the secrets I hold. (I'm currently in possession of Larry Ellison's secret decoder ring, shhh.)
So, down to business shall we? All clues are only visible on the footpath, not from any road surface.
A = Number of plaques bearing at least one bird are visible from the South entrance.
B = Number of plaques bearing at least one bird are visible from the North entrance.
C = Total number of birds depicted in plaques, North and South combined.
D = Number of plaques bearing mice in the tunnel.
E = Number of plaques bearing plants in the tunnel.
F = Number of plaques bearing plants alone in the tunnel.

Your checksum, for A thru F, will be 30.

J = A + F
K = D - F
L = A - B
P = C - A
Q = E - C
R = D + C
The path is accessible by wheelchair, from a ramp off Spring Street, there is parking available along Spring Street, nearby. No climbing is necessary and unless you are excedingly diminutive in stature or bound by your means of conveyance. The final you should easily be able to reach while standing on the path, although if you are in a wheelchair it may be necessary to bring an associate along with you in this endeavour to reach the final. I mark the terrain as 1.5 at the very worst, though for many it will be a 1.0
Beware of fast cyclists, some come along here faster than they should. And if you happen to see either (or both) of the Black or White spies, run!
Good luck on locating the final and don't look for it under anything which weighs more than an ounce.
