NOTE: It is highly recommended that you park at the suggested coordinates across the highway, then cross on foot to the tiny pullout and gate. There is extremely limited sight distance on 385 both north and southbound if you park at the gate, and there's only room for 1, maybe 2 vehicles.
This cache is the first of four caches placed along or near an old road / hiking trail on the west side of Sheridan Lake. None of these are especially hard, and are fairly easy to find. The hide styles are all somewhat different, as is each cache container. Pay attention to the terrain ratings. This particular cache is right along the trail.
You are looking for a soda preform container, log only, camo'd to blend in with the surrounding environment. There's no need to destroy or break anything near the cache, just search carefully and methodically. After signing the log, be sure the cap is screwed back on tight, and return the container to where you found it, taking care the camo is in place.
As with all our caches, stay safe and have fun!
