There are a few access points to get to the cache but the two easiest are:
One, Miller Rd end of the Western Okataina Walkway.
Two, Boat ramp at Lake Okataina.
Follow the Western Okataina Walkway to the trig. And from there I don't really need to tell you what to do.... 
But just in case you do look beside and under the trig.
The track is STEEP in places and will require a fair bit of fitness.
Don't let this put you off tho, just take your tima and a camera....From the boat ramp you will need about 2 -3 hours at a nice walk to complete the return trip.
