This quiet spot off of the Birsdeye Hwy is an ideal spot for rest while travelling and quite often you may see grey nomads stopping for morning tea, or even camping for the night. A walk through the scrub to find this cache gives some perspective of the surrounding country, with a predominantly rocky soil and mallee canopy, Depending on the time of the year, wildflowers abound here, as does much native birdlife. Jays and Ringneck Parrots are particularly abundant here, and you dont have to listen too hard to hear their calls.
This cache is actually located on my land, but don't worry, feel free to wander about this patch of scrub, its fenced off from the rest of the farm.
