Geocache Description:

"You have to think about one shot. One shot is what it's all about. The deer has to be taken with one shot. I try to tell people that - they don't listen. Do you ever think about Vietnam?"

#53 on AFI's 10th Anniversary List of the 100 Greatest American Films of All Time

A 1978 American war drama film co-written and directed by Michael Cimino about a trio of Russian American steelworkers and their service in the Vietnam War. The film stars Robert De Niro, Christopher Walken, John Savage, John Cazale, Meryl Streep, and George Dzundza. The story takes place in Clairton, a small working class town on the Monongahela River south of Pittsburgh and then in Vietnam, somewhere in the woodland and in Saigon, during the Vietnam War. The film depicts an in-depth examination of the ways in which the Vietnam War disrupts and impacts the lives of people in the small industrial town in Pennsylvania.

The film won five Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Supporting Actor for Christopher Walken.
