This cache commemorates milestones in caching that I have reached. My 2000th find was USS Arizona Anchor which was found two days after Pearl Harbor Day. At that time, I made a goal of finding 200 Virtual/Earthcaches. It took another 6 months to reach this goal, by which time I had over 2200 total finds.This cache was placed on July 4th, 2014.
To find this cache, park at the listed coordinates, then hike up to the top of the hill. There is a trail just west of the utility pole that will go right to the cache.
You are welcome to hike to groundzero once you have reached the following milestones:
1. Found 2000 total caches
2. Found 200 non-physical caches (virtual, earthcache, webcam cache, and the old reverse caches: event caches, benchmarks, and the new challenges do NOT count).
3. Found 50 letterboxes
4. Cached in at least 12 states (including DC), with at least 5 finds per state.
5. Cached in at least 3 countries.
This information can easily be found on your profile page, and I will be confirming this on all finds. Please don't log the cache until you've met the challenge. I will allow your placed caches to count for Virtual, Earthcaches, and Letterboxes, but not for total finds. Please indicate in your log if you use any placed caches.
