James is a young man who has walked the Cancer Journey since 2006. Over this time he has been supported by his family and friends and the medical staff at The Childrens Hospital at Westmead and the GP's at The Practice at Blacktown. He is about to turn 18 and this cache is to celebrate that milestone. James and his family took up caching during this time as a way of coping with the stress and pressure of the journey. I have followed his progress regularly with his family, often with an opening question of "How's James"
Set in the heart of Western Sydney, The Western Sydney Parklands contain world class sporting facilities, popular picnic areas, a full length cycle/walking track and native bushland. Covering 5,280 hectares, the Parklands stretch 27 kilometres from Quakers Hill to Leppington and are twenty five times the size of Centennial Park.
The Western Sydney Parklands are part of the NSW Government's new vision for contemporary, urban living in Western Sydney and are the perfect place to spend the day with family and friends - all without leaving your own backyard. The park is opened all hours of the day and the cache shouldn't be too hard to find.
