"Always remember that once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the answer."
Puzzles will often teach you something new. Look for the unknown and learn something from each one.
Make them enjoyable and you will relish the opportunity to pit brains with the 'oh-so-clever' hider. Look at who the hider is. Look at their other puzzles, puzzles near where they live if you know that, or near where they have their hides on the map. Often the hider is inspired by the puzzles they solve.
If some piece of information looks too easy - for a higher difficulty puzzle - look for the trick. The red herring.
And the more puzzles you solve, the more often you will see something you have seen before - of almost have seen before but that's enough to untangle the new one.
I will say it again, to be clear, the more you BELIEVE you can do puzzles, the more you enjoy the challenge, and the euphoria of success, the easier they will all become.
