Geocache Description:

The cache is place adjacent to the A 379 close to the Billacombe SITE OF SPECIAL SCIENTIFIC INTEREST http://www.plymouth.gov.uk/billacombesssi and Billacombe Quarry.

This is our first cache, placed close to the Old Billacombe Quarry. Which over the past 2 years, through numerous explosions and constant drilling, has been levelled to provide a building plot. Work has started on the first phase of the housing, and there are plans to include Education and Community facilities.
To the east is Billacombe SSSI, an area frequented by local dog walkers, and where we have taken our grandchildren to play.

Care must be taken, especially with younger cachers as the always busy A 379 is only 30 yards away. It is recommended you use Parking 1

The cache only contains a log, so bring your own pen.

PLEASE REPLACE AS FOUND AND ENSURE THE LOG IS FULLY HOME IN MALE PORTION OF CACHE CONTAINER TO RETAIN THE SEAL (see image in gallery). This ensures the seal is retained and the log is not jammed.
