The Aardskip is a zero carbon and water foot print house which is build by Ludwig Everson. The house is built only by using recycled and natural materials like car tires, hay, glas botles, plastic and many other stuff. Also is this house completely designed to be off-grid, that means that it creates its own electricity, catches its own water, and uses its own sewage system.

The original Earthship concept was created by Mike Renolds, for he tried to find more sustainable ways to build houses. The Aardskip is the first of its kind in South-Africa and is most probably the solution to many ecological problems that are rising in this modern age.

When you come into the yard you'll note the board, but please watch where you're going cause you may fall of the bridge into the trench, but sometimes it's funny what you can find in places like that.
