Cache is just off the trail, but no bushwhacking is necessary. Maintain appropriate stealth as the trail is very popular.

Best access is from Lower Big Springs Trailhead, but South Park Drive is closed for newts from mid-autumn to early spring; closest drive-up trail access during that closure is from Quarry Trailhead on Wildcat Canyon Road.
