*gln: ARCHIVING ABANDONED CACHE

Looks like our timing is off and It’s time to say goodbye to this cache.

Since I haven't any maintenance here in a very long time, I am going to assume that your priorities have changed and you’ve gone in a different direction.

Let me know if I can be of assistance in the future.

Thanks a MILLION for all you have done, Glenn

Geocache Description:

My favorite class at Rockhurst High School was Pottery, as taught by Fr. Jim White.  Fr. White invited me back to use the high school wheels and kiln one summer a few years after my '79 graduation, and that was my last touch with pottery until last spring.  With the urging of my spouse, I have rediscovered pottery at this cache site, within which bears a kiln named "The Fr. White Kiln".  It was meant to be.... as was finding the "Maker Madness" trackable.  When you discover this cache, you will also discover one of my original art pieces from "back in the day".

Please do not disturb the vertical sculpture of stacked pots or walk in the garden area.

FTF will also have the opportunity to the Maker Madness Trackable Tag which I picked up last week.

I will periodically add handmade pottery goodies to cache container for finders to trade or take.

Update: Originally I had one of my high school pieces housing the cache. Unfortunately, after two seasons of freeze-thaw cycles, it broke. I have replaced it with a newer composite creation. Enjoy!
