Geocache Description:

A small pocket midway between the Eastern Freeway and the Guide Dogs.

This is an area the geokids enjoy riding and walking through frequently, even on the way to other caches! This is our first cache. The geokids wanted to share the view over the grasslands near their favourite little hill for speeding down onto the bike path. They have spent a lot of time working out a few little 'treasures' to place in it. It is dog friendly, being close to the Guide Dogs, but can also be noisy as the Eastern Freeway is just over the rise.

The easiest way to the cache is by foot or bike from the nearby Chandler Highway bridge. Se the suggested 'Parking' Waypoint above. We used averaged readings from our Galaxy Tab, along with a check on Google Maps to make the location as accurate as possible. The cache is not on the freeway side of the fence.

The cache itself should be easy to find for anyone in the family. It is a 400ml clear Sistema container with a few small pieces of homemade camo (this camo seems to have come off unfortunately). It should contain a small pen, but it might be safe to bring your own pencil. Please take care in replacing it in its hiding spot as the area is frequented by mountain bike riders.

There is a small prize in the cache for the FTF.

Any feedback is welcome as the geokids were anxious to get it right. :-)
