Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Washtenaw County Parks' 2014 Geocaching Adventure! This year, eight geocaches await you on our properties. Your mission is to find them, note the code words on the inside lid of each cache and, once you have found all eight, submit your complete list of caches and related code words. Those geocachers who complete the adventure will receive a special collectible. But wait! There's more! Read on to learn what it'll take to be our FTF this year.

Welcome to the Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission's 2014 Geocaching Adventure! This year, we have placed 8 geocaches in our properties throughout the county. Your mission is to find them, note the code words on the inside lid of each cache and, once you have found all 8 caches, contact us through Geocaching.com with your complete list of caches and related code words. Those geocachers who complete the adventure will receive a special collectible. But wait! There's more! We have also hidden a special challenge geocache. No code words are involved with this cache, and finding it is not required to complete the Geocaching Adventure... unless you want to be the FTF. If you're gunning to be our FTF this year, in addition to your list of code words, we also want a photo of you with the challenge geocache! Now head outside and have a wonderful Adventure!

The winding, wooded paths of Scio Woods Preserve are a popular destination for those wishing a peaceful walk in a pristine forest. Acres of Scio's beautiful groves comprise this suburban preserve, so close to civilization but so remote once you're walking within it. As with all Washtenaw County preserves, no dogs are allowed. Thank you!

Congratulations to tessandfriends, FTF this cache, and to The Schammys, FTF the 2014 Adventure!
