UPDATE: Please do not attempt driving to this cache via your vehicle. You will get stuck. Get out and walk, please. It is not a drive up cache. If you only have in-car nav, you're going to have a bad time, mmmkay?
Also, a few female goats are wandering about the area, no worries, they're very friendly. If the gate is open, leave it open. If the gate is closed, please close it when you're done. Happy Hunting!
This (was once) a Car-themed Cache.
You really should ride in a car to the general area.
Cars (used to be here).
Hot Wheels cars are the "booty".
Once you find the cache die-cast, Hot Wheels cars are for the taking, or bring your Hot Wheels or Matchbox cars to leave behind. Container should hold 20 or so...
Mike thought up the theme and donated the cars. We found them in a box in his closet (a little treasure hunt of it's own)
Area Notes: This is the location of a once large apple orchard. Since the tornado of '96 it has not produced fruit. Originally 2000 trees stood on these hills, now only the hackberries that grew between them remain.
On you way out (going South), if it's clear, look past the barn w-a-y over and you might see the gas station signs at the I-40/Mt. Juliet Rd Exit. Bet you didn't know it was so high up?
