Geocache Description:

This cache is easily accessible. The cache is not actually at the Dodge House but across the street in the Slade Family Garden at the Mill Pond. The cache is in a plastic screw top container.

This is the first in my Long Island History Series. The Thomas Dodge house has been around since 1721. It is considered the oldest existing house still in Port Washington. To find out more about the Dodge House, follow this link:

The cache is located across the street in the Slade Family Garden at the Mill Pond. It is in a plastic container. Enjoy the view of Mill Pond and Mahasset Bay while sitting on the benches in the garden. The cache is hiding in the garden.
