A traditional cache that is not too difficult to find. Very winter friendly. Plan for a short hike. Some of the trails tend to criss cross making it easy to get turned around. You can grab a trail map on your way in. There is a display right off the parking lot. There are a few caches in the area so it is a great spot to spend a few hours. During the proper seasons, it is also a great fishing spot for young fisher boys and girls. We often come for the day, bring a picnic, the dog and fishing poles. Depending on the season, watch your step for this one. There is a bit of PI around.
Had a little trouble with the tree cover here. Checked it on several different trips and I zeroed it in as best I could. I will update as necessary. The hint will help if your GPS jumps around like mine did.
