Geocache Description:

You are looking for a micro with log only.

Clint Smith of Assiniboia was born December 12th 1913. He played junior hockey in Saskatoon and signed with the New York Rangers in 1932. He played 10 seasons in the NHL and at only 5' 71/2" tall, he quickly made an impression being 2nd in scoring for the NYR and doing it with no penalty minutes!! He was also the first NHL player to score into an empty net after the league allowed goalies to be pulled in a game. His 10 year career in the NHL saw him play with the Rangers and the Blackhawks. He played for a total of 483 games, scoring 161 goals and 483 points. He did that with only 24 penalty minutes in 10 years and for 3 of those years, he did not get any penalty minutes at all. No wonder he won the Lady Bing trophy twice!

He was inducted into the HHOF in 1991
