You are looking for a small container with a log book and a few trade items.

Sid Abel was born in Melville Saskatchewan on February 22nd, 1918. He started his NHL career in1938-1939 and played until the 1953-1954 season. During his career he won the Stanley Cup 3 times, all with the Detroit Red Wings. He was part of the famous "Production Line" with Gordie Howe and Ted Lindsay. He also served as team captain for the 1942-43 season and then again from 1945 through until 1952. He also won the Hart trophy in 1949. He was traded to the Blackhawks in 1952-53 season.

Sid played a total of 706 games scoring 217 goals, adding 313 assists for 530 points. During his stay with the Red Wings, he wore 7 different jersey numbers including 4,7,9,12,14,19 and 20, but it was the number 12 jersey that the Red Wings retired to the rafters with his name on it. Sid was also listed by the Hockey News as player 85 in their list of the top 100 players of all time. He was inducted into the HHOF in 1969. Sid Abel passed away on February 8th, 2000.
