Drive to the parking lot at the very end of Morfee Lake Road (approx 3 kms on a good gravel road). Walk towards the boat launch, and take the well-used footpath to the right of the Trailhead Sign. Snowshoes or skis are needed in Winter. Very deep snows are common until later in the Spring.
Morfee Lake is a well-used recreational lake in Mackenzie. There are two beach areas and a boat launch located within a short distance of each other. Parking facilities, picnic tables and washroom facilities are available as well.
Several other caches can be found along lakeshore trails as well as along the road leading down to the lake!
Mackenzie has many caches hidden within the community and along Hwy 39 leading into town!
