Ex_Mann and I started geocaching in 2009. Geocaching became one of the ways we developed our relationship together- a true test of teambuilding by navigating, puzzle solving, and overcoming obstacles and unexpected turns of events. Geocaching also gets us out exploring Eastern Ontario and beyond, seeing strange and beautiful sites- anything from geology, plants, animals, or architecture. But best of all are the friendships we’ve made along the way with our fellow geocachers- it wouldn’t be the same game without interacting with the geocaching community, and we want to welcome the geocaching community to help us celebrate our wedding day on July 26th.
The format of this event will be a flashmob style after our wedding inside the church at the posted coordinates. It will be from approximately 3:00 to 3:20 PM, off to the side away from the main entrance, and at some point around that time we will join you for a group photo. Our friends Inkyfiller and Waxwing454 will be helping us to co-host the event.
We know how warm July afternoons can get, and we know that there are plenty of geocaches in and around town for you to find- so feel free to come in casual/geocaching clothes (or dress up!).
We are very excited for the big day, and looking forward to our happily ever after.
