Rocky is our dog and we thought it appropriate to honor him with this cache. He is a lovable floppy cattle dog retriever mix and he is the best dog we have ever owned. He got the name "Rocky" because as a pup, his eyes looked like Sylvester Stallone's - the name doesn't fit his personality, but we can't change it now..... He is not a great geocaching dog as we had hoped - hip dysplasia restricts him to short jaunts. He loves to go in the car, however, and when weather permits, he will patiently wait in the car for us to finish poking around for caches.
When you find the cache, you will understand our inspiration.
A brief hike up a slope will get you to this location. You can park along the side of the road - plenty of room. Just be careful along the side of the road. This cache should be quick- wouldn't try with young children and wouldn't recommend trying to find in the dark.
