If you were to park and leave your car in the lot at the boat launch, it's about a 3.25 mile hike from start to finish. If you're not fond of walking, but still want to do the tour, you can drive and park along the route.
You're first stop is the longest stretch. Yes, there is a road of sorts, on the jetty. It's not paved.... it's bumpy, it's narrow. And it's difficult to get turned around. I recommend you leave the 4 wheels in the parking lot, and enjoy the sights on the short hike to GZ.
Look sharp...there are crab bait-stealing seals, sky-diving pelicans, sleek river otters, and other neat stuff to oggle.
At GZ you'll find a Coast Guard light beacon. There are eight digits in the serial number.
Write it down
Multiply the middle two digits by 8.
Add this to the North co-ods.
Double the last two digits of the serial number.
Subtract this number from the West co-ords.
