Year: 1989
Synopsis: James Bond (Timothy Dalton) receives a lighter from his good friends, Felix Leiter and Della Churchill, for being the best man at their wedding. It is engraved "James, Love Always, Della and Felix." Felix, on the way to his wedding, apprehends the elusive drug kingpin Franz Sanchez. Before Sanchez can be transported to a more secure holding facility, he bribes a guard to help him escape. In retaliation for Felix capturing Sanchez, the drug kingpin sends his henchmen after the honeymooners and kills Della while seriously injuring Felix. To seek revenge for his friends, Bond begins an exciting pursuit of Sanchez.
It looks like it is over for Bond when Sanchez drags him up on a rock and prepares to strike with his machete. Bond asks if Sanchez wants to know why he is pursuing him, pulling the lighter from his pocket. Sanchez sees the engraving with Della's and Felix's names just before Bond lights it, turning Sanchez into a human torch.
