Similar to my Ricci's cache, this cache waxes nostalgic about the old Hugo, MN. The city is ever expanding on the West side, but us old timers know the real Hugo is on the East/North side. Back in the day, if you were coming into Hugo from 35E, you would come in on this road. But when the city decided to expand, they closed this road off with a cul-de-sac and routed Highway 14 (County Road 8) around to the South of it. I would strongly recommend parking in this cul-de-sac, partly because I don't think you can park on 14/8, but also because driving down this road is like driving into the past. This road used to be a happening place in Hugo, now it's crumbling.
