Geocache Description:

This is a pretty trail year-round, and the cache site is a gradual quarter-mile climb from the trailhead. You might see some deer as you hike.  They're plentiful around here.

This cache is big enough for small trade items.  It's well-stocked with some fun stuff for families.  It contains a pencil or two.

This is the rebirth of a previous cache that I had placed six months ago a short distance away.  The container is the same but the name and location have changed (the old one was named "Auntie Loper"), and it has a fresh paper log.  I don't mind the Boulder County Open Space 6-month limit so much because it forces me to visit this and the other two that I put further up the trail..

Directions:  From the West end of Lyons, go North on 36 and then turn West (left) on Apple Valley Road.  Then take a left on Antelope Trail and go to the trailhead at the end of the road.  Enjoy the hike, the scenery, and the wildlife.  When you're done, stop in downtown Lyons and do something to help the economy of this great little community.
