Davy Jones Herz

Ursprünglich wird von Davy Jones, dem „Teufel des Meeres“ und seiner Kiste gesprochen, welche für den Grund des Ozeans als letzte Ruhestätte ertrunkener Seeleute steht.

Daniel Defoe erwähnte als erster 1726 in seinem Buch das Seemannsgrab. Der wirkliche Ursprung ist nicht bekannt. Mehrfach wird Davy Jones sowohl in Texten einiger Seemannslieder als auch in Aussagen von Seeleuten erwähnt, immer im Zusammenhang mit dem Tod auf See.

Nun begebt ihr euch in ein Piraten Abenteuer. In jedem Cache wird ein teil seiner Geschichte erzählt. Dort erhaltet ihr auch Zahlen die euch zum großen Schatz am ende bringen.

Originaly it is spoken of  Davy Jones, the  sailors' devil and his „chest“,

which are the symbols of sailors drowned to death and shipwrecks. at the bottom of the sea.

Where this realy comes from is unknown. Daniel Defoe was first to mention the sailor’s grave  in a book  in 1726. The same Davy Jones, according to sailors, is the fiend that presides over all evil spirits of the deep, and is often seen in various shapes, perching among the rigging on the eve of hurricanes, in ship-wrecks, and other disasters to which seafaring life is exposed, warning the devoted wretch about death and woe.
