This multi-cache is a short two-stage adventure that is a little off the beaten trail in Oxbow Park. The park is a great place to visit year round. The landscape is beautiful and you're always sure to spot many forms of wildlife, from interesting bugs to impressive deer. There are trail maps posted at each river bridge and most trail junctions to help guide your adventure.
I chose a multi because there's just so much you need to explore out here...and who doesn't like a multi-cache? 
The approach is relatively easy if you hike to the northeast corner of the North Meadow Trail and then bushwhack for twenty feet as you hop off of the trail and head north down the hill. (Note: You should be west of the marked service trail about 50-100 feet before you think of heading north.) Before long, you'll have easier hiking again. The canopy is high and it's not very thick below, even in the middle of the summer.
When I was preparing this cache, I couldn't help to think of King Boreas' HOT WAX Series and had to borrow the concept of the image he uses.
The first stage is a larger peanut butter jar containing a stash note and the coordinates to the final cache location. The final isn't a full 5-gallon-bucket size, but it's big enough to hold some pretty good loot. Enjoy!
