Fallebo Gård
Fallebo Gård har anor ända tillbaka till 1500-talet. Sin nuvarande form fick gården någonstans runt 1720. From år 2009 arbetar flera ideella föreningar med stöd av Oskarshamns Kommun för att gården och omgivande marker ska vara i gott skick och öppna för allmänheten.
Här kan man hälsa på kaninerna Korven och Spaghetti med kompisar. Grisen Pelle är nästan alltid trött. Ute i hagen betar fåren förnöjt och väldans stiliga hönsfåglar struttar omkring runt picnicborden. Hästar, myskankor och en massa katter kommer man antagligen också träffa på.
De mer motorintresserade barnen kan ta en tur i Barnens Traktor, en helt riktig traktor som numera bara färdas i fantasin. Här finns också leksaker, sandlåda och en ganska läskig gunga (för de större barnen). För oss vuxna barn finns vandringsstigar och fullt med skyltad information om traktens träd och buskar.
Fallebo gård ägs av en stiftelse och ordföranden Hans kan man ofta se gå runt och mata djuren. Han tyckte att en Geocache på gården var en strålande ide. Var varsamma i er jakt på den lilla burken, ta den under dagtid och parkera på anvisad parkering. Ta gärna med picnic-korgen när ni besöker Fallebo Gård.

Fallebo Gård
The Fallebo Farm dates back all the way to the 14th century but assumed its present form somewhere around 1720. Since 2009 several non-profit associations supported by the town of Oskarshamn work with the preservation and restoration of the farmhouses and the surrounding landscape. Fallebo Gård is open to the general public.
Here you can say hello to the rabbits Korven and Spaghetti and their pals. Pelle the pig is almost always tired. Out in the pasture sheep munch away at the green grass and very handsome hens and roosters strut about around the picnic tables. You'll probably also meet horses, musk ducks and lots of cats.
The kids with a more outspoken interest in motorcars and such can take a ride on The Children's Tractor, a perfectly real tractor that nowadays only do imiganary travels. There are also toys, a sandbox and a rather scary swing (for the older kids). For us adult kids there are walking trails in the surrounding area and loads of informative signs that teach us about the local vegetation.
The Fallebo Farm is owned by a foundation and the chairman Hans can often be seen feeding the animals. He thought that a geocache at the farm was a brilliant idea. Be gentle in your hunt for the little canister. Please park at the designated parking area. There are people living nearby so nightcaching with flashlights might unnecessarily spook peole. Don't forget to bring the picnic-basket to Fallebo Gård.
