Geocache Description:


Our first hide is a tribute to Narnia by CS Lewis, a book we enjoy. 
At the specified coordinates you will find the Wardrobe that will lead you to the mystical land of Narnia.
Be careful! the Witch is hiding in the trees! But fear not Aslan is waiting for you!
In the area you will find a church that belongs to Agios Nikolaos (Leontariou). It was built in 1592 and restored in 1872. But there are traces of a church dating back to the 12th century. 
The marble lion is of the late 4th century BC and was probably part of a large funerary monument. While working on the road in 1981, a marble sarcophagus from the 4th century BC was discovered. The cache is a small tin box it contains a logbook, a pencil and a few tradables.

Για το πρώτο μας  hide αποφασίσαμε να τιμήσουμε το βιβλίο Νάρνια του CS Lewis.
Στις συντεταγμένες θα βρείτε την Ντουλάπα που θα σας οδηγήσει στο μυστηριώδη κόσμο της Νάρνιας.
Προσοχή! Στα δένδρα κρύβεται η Μάγισσα ! Αλλά μην φοβάστε ο Ασλάν σας περιμένει.
Στην περιοχή θα βρείτε την εκκλησία του Αγίου Νικολάου Λεονταρίου. Χτίστηκε το 1592 και αναστηλώθηκε το 1872. Η αρχική εκκλησία χρονολογείται τον 12ου αιώνα.  
Το μαρμάρινο λιοντάρι χρονολογείται τον 4ο αιώνα π.Χ. και μάλλον ήταν τμήμα ενός μεγάλου ταφικού μνημείου. Κατά την διάρκεια εργασιών για το άνοιγμα του δρόμου το 1981 ανακαλύφθηκε μαρμάρινη σαρκοφάγος του 4ου αιώνα πΧ. Για περισσότερες πληροφορίες:

Το cache είναι ένα μικρό μεταλλικό κουτάκι έχει logbook, μολύβι και μερικά πράγματα για ανταλλαγή.
