Geocache Description:

A series of seven caches following local footpaths to celebrate the cats that have shared our lives. All the caches are cat themed and intended to be child friendly.

Wispa was a black cat who live his brother Jasper loved to hunt. Jasper loved birds but Wispa loved anything that could swim. One morning we came downstairs to find seven frogs hopping around the kitchen - who knows where they came from as there are no streams or ponds nearby and none of our neighbours had fish ponds. the only thing we knew was the cat that bought them in - naughty Wispa

The circuit around the seven caches is approximately 1.1 miles long and follows footpaths and permissive paths. The footpaths are well maintained and defined and can be accessed by pushbike and buggies although the going is a bit tougher between caches 2 and 3 following the permissive paths Parking and access is available on Surgeys Lane alongside GZ for No 1. There is also a bus stop approx 100 yards away – Nottingham City transport Service 58 – junction Surgeys lane and Homefield Avenue Parking and access is available on Killisick Lane at N53 00.617 W 001 06.613. There is also a bus stop approx 50 yards away – Nottingham City transport Service 58 and 59 – junction Killisisck Lane and Gleneagles Drive
