Combs reservoir was also constructed in 1797, in order to feed water to the Peak Forest Canal. You may wish to park in the Combs Reservoir car park which is very nearby. This may get engulfed by growth during the summer, it seems to expand more each year. It will be up to you if you wish to brave it. The cache is a small plastic jar.
This is a busy route. Please take care not to be seen retrieving the hides and please take the time to properly re-hide them before you continue so others many enjoy the walk. Please remember to bring your own writing implement; the logbooks must be signed. Please enjoy the walk!
