Combs reservoir was also constructed in 1797, in order to feed water to the Peak Forest Canal. You may wish to park in the Combs Reservoir car park and then follow the scenic (but often muddy) footpath around the edge of the reservoir. Here you will see an old tunnel built at the time of the reservoir.
This is a busy route. Please take care not to be seen retrieving the hides and please take the time to properly re-hide them before you continue so others many enjoy the walk. Please remember to bring your own writing implement; the logbooks must be signed. Please enjoy the walk!
