Geocache Description:

Why did the platitudinous pedestrian cross the road?

First keep in my this is a puzzle cache so the cache isn't located at the posted coords... but then again it might be, but I doubt it. When you do arrive at the posted coords please keep in mind there may be some platitudinous pedestrian muggles around so keep an eye out for them.  And there might be a lot of automobilist muggles, too, so don't dally here long.

As you arrive at the posted coords you will find yourself ready to head due west away from 45th Street East... so why not do that.  And as you travel this route be sure to count how many signs warning of platitudinous pedestrian muggle crossings that were facing you until you reach the end.  At the end of the road do a 180° turn (yeah, that means turn around for the newbies.... just kidding) and start heading back towards 45th Street East and continue counting.  When you're back at 45th Street East total the number of platitudinous pedestrian muggle crossing signs you were faced with and plug that into the following formula :

N27 26.(625 - SIGNS) W82 30.(533 + SIGNS)

Be sure you see that the first is subtraction and the second is addition (yes, even the best of us miss that occasionally... right Rich?).  Now that you have the coords be off and snag the find before you become another platitudinous pedestrian DNF statistic!

No geo-checker you ask?  Nope, too easy to armchair geo-puzzle with a cache like this!

Enjoy!
