Poppa's Place (East Auckland) Traditional Cache

My father lived about 40m from this spot for 54 years. I grew up here and used to play all along the river bank and sailed on the river.

The cache is easily accessible from the river side between low and half tide. At full tide it will be a bit more difficult unless you have waders or walk along the rocks. There is no access directly above GZ but there are a couple of entry points from further along the bank in both directions. The cache is a camoed film canister attached to its host. Please do not remove from its spot - just flick off the lid and grab the contents.
