Geocache Description:

This cache was archived when the Coffin Container was smashed by mowers, but it is such a unique cemetery, I just had to resurrect it. Sorry, the coffin container is not here, but the cemetery definitely is. You are looking for a preform.

The cemetery is known as the Lollar Cemetery and is located at a place that formerly was called Laffingwell Crossing.  There are two grave stones that are somewhat readable, and there are a total of six grave stones in the cemetery.

The story behind this unique cemetery as related by the Historical Society, goes as such: A train, at one time ran next to the cemetery, and when it was returning from the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis, it crashed near the cemetery.  Some of the crash victims were buried here.  It is obvious that the Interstate almost wiped out the cemetery, I wonder if they had to move it out of the way of the graves?

FTF Honors to Trekto, that’s a long drive for FTF, Congratulations!!
