Welcome to the Pirate Grrlz CCAR GEOART!

There are 45 mystery caches in total that, once you solve the puzzle and find the cache, spell out CCAR across some beautiful farm country. The majority of the caches are soda preforms wired to a fence post, however there are a few others thrown into the mix just to keep things fresh. Any Non-fence posts are indicated in the description.

You will be traveling on dirt, gravel and paved roads with varying shoulder widths. Please be sure to pull over as much as possible and be aware and respectful of others using the roads. We strongly suggest that when finding the caches running East-West on Springbank road, use the parking coordinates supplied. The road is busy with cars and cyclists and the shoulder is VERY narrow.

Please respect the area, there is no need to cross any fence lines or enter private property. Also, leave any birdhouses to the birds.

What the heck is CCAR???
The Calgary Cache And Release (CCAR, get it?) event is a fun-filled geocaching extravaganza that is free for all to attend! Held twice per year (spring and fall) Geocachers old, wizened and new-alike are all welcome to attend. Those who have never attended a Calgary Cache and Release event before will be welcomed. There is something for everyone. You can visit the Official CCAR webpage for more details and to see the past winners voted best cache for each event.
