CZ: Skalka podobná medvědí hlavě

EN: The rock reminiscent to a bear´s head

DE: Ein Felsen der sehr einem Bärenkopf ähnelt

Místo pro uložení keše bylo vybráno při terénních přípravách závodů v orientačním běhu Žebříček B Čechy - SAXBO 2014.

Celý Kateřinský hřbet je plný nádherných žulových balvanů a skalek roztodivných tvarů. Keš se nalézá u útvaru, který velmi připomíná hlavu zvířete. Lidská fantazie nezná mezí, každý může vidět něco trochu jiného. Kromě vzhledu skalky nás inspirovala i on-line kronika Oldřichova v Hájích: (visit link)
„Nedaleko Jeřice leží Bärhaupt = Medvědí hlava. Název připouští dvojí výklad. Jednak se někomu mohl kopec zdát poněkud podobný hlavě medvěda. Ve zdejším nářečí se kopci říkalo "Barheit", což může být medvědí hlava, ale může to taky souviset se slovem "bar" holý, nahý, tedy kopec mohl být v osídlení bezlesý. V sedmdesátých letech minulého století tu pobývali zeměměřiči, kteří zavedli název "Bärheide" (medvědí vřesoviště). Název však vůbec neodpovídá zdejší výslovnosti a na nových mapách proto byl vymýcen jakožto špatně pochopený - nesprávný. Lesní požáry patrně připomínají ke stejnému hřebeni náležící Brandlehne, Brändelberg (672 m) a Brändelhau - Ve spáleném, doslova Spálená stráň, Spálený vrch a Spálená mýtina.“

Na žádné mapě jsme nenalezli, který z mnoha vrchů nesl jméno Medvědí hlava. Nicméně vzhled skalky si o toto jméno přímo říká. Možná jsme ten správný kopec našli, možná ne. Dnes má úplně jiný geografický název, ale kdo ví, jak se dříve jmenoval?

Na úvodních souřadnicích keš nehledejte. Najdete tam však medvěda, u něhož můžete zjistit, kde je ukrytý poklad.

A jak zjistit X a Y ?
X=B*C-C-A
Y=A*B*C+C
A = počet kmenů břízy stojící po pravém boku medvěda (počítejte ve výši medvědova hřbetu)
B = hodnota přiřazená směru, kterým medvěd hledí.
Sever B=1
Východ B=2
Jih B=3
Západ B=4
C = výška středu medvědova oka nad zemí v decimetrech

Bear´s Head
A place to hide the cache was selected during preparation Orienteering competitions Ranking B Bohemia - SAXBO 2014.

The whole Kateřinský hřbet is full of beautiful granite boulders and rocks of scenically shapes. The cache is located to the rock, which is very reminiscent of the animal's head. Nearby Jeřice is Bärhaupt = Bear's head. This name admits two interpretations. First, someone might seem a little hill like a bear´s head. In the local dialect is a hill called "Barheit", which can be a bear head, but it can also be associated with the word "bar" bare, naked, it means that the hill could be in unforested settlement. In the seventies of the last century there lived surveyors, who introduced the name "Bärheide" (bear heath). However, the name does not correspond to the local pronunciation and it was eradicated in the new maps as badly understood - wrong. Forest fires probably resemble the same ridge belonging Brandlehne, Brändelberg (672 m) and Brändelhau - in the burned literally blown hillside, Burnt Hill and burnt clearing.

We haven´t found which of many of the hills was named the bear's head on any map. However, the appearance of the rocks might suggest that this name was real and we have found the right hill, but now it bears a completely different geographical name

Don´t look for the cache at the initial coordinates. There you can find a bear and gain information, where the cache is hidden.

X=B*C-C-A
Y=A*B*C+C
A = number of the birch standing on the right side of the bear (count at the height of bear´s back)
B = the value assigned to the direction in which the bear looks
North B=1
East B=2

C = the height of the centre of the bear´s eye above the ground in decimetres

Bärenkopf (Bärhaupt)

Dieser Ort für der Cache wurde während der Vorbereitungsarbeiten für Orientierungslaufwettkämpfe SAXBO 2014 / Ranglistenlauf B-Böhmen gewählt.

Der ganze Katharinberger Kamm (Kateřinský hřbet) ist voll von wundervollen Granitsteinblocken und Felsen malerischer Formen. Der Cache befindet sich bei einer Formation, die sehr einem Tierkopf ähnelt. Die menschliche Phantasie kennt keine Grenzen, jeder kann etwas ein wenig anderes sehen. Neben der Felsenformation hat uns auch die Online-Chronik von Buschullersdorf (Oldřichov v Hájích) inspiriert. (visit link)
„Unweit Görsbach liegt das „Bärhaupt“ (mundartlich „Barheit“). Sein Name lässt eine doppelte Erklärung zu. Der Namenbeileger kann in der Gestalt des Gipfels eine Aehnlichkeit mit dem Haupte oder „Heite“ (der mundartlichen Form für Haupt) eines Bären (mundartlich „Bar“) herausgefunden haben. Es kann aber auch die Koppe früher nackt, kahl oder „bar“ d.h. unbewaldet gewesen sein. Der von den in den siebziger Jahren des verflossenen Jahrhunderts in unserem Gebiete weilenden Vermessungsoffizieren eingeführte Name „Bärheide“ entspricht nicht im mindesten der Volksaussprache und ist daher als missverstandene und infolgedessen falsche Bezeichnung auf den neueren Karten wieder ausgemerzt worden. Auf Waldbrände scheinen die im Bereiche des gleichen Gebirgskammes auftretenden Namen „Brandlehne“, „Brändelberg“ (672 m) und „Brändelhau“ hinzudeuten.“

Wir haben auf keiner Karte gefunden, welcher von den vielen Hügeln den Namen Bärhaupt trug. Doch die Felsenform nimmt den Namen geradezu in Anspruch. Vielleicht haben wir den richtigen Hügel gefunden, vielleicht auch nicht. Heute hat er einen ganz anderen geographischen Namen, aber wer weiß, wie er früher genannt wurde? 

Auf den Einleitungskoordinaten ist der Cache nicht zu finden. Man kann hier aber einen Bären finden und dort die Koordinaten, wo der Cache versteckt ist.

A = Anzahl der Birkenstämme an rechter Seite des Bären (gezählt wird in der Höhe von Bärenrücken)
B = Wert der Blickrichtung des Bären

Süden B=3
Westen B=4
C = Höhe des Augenmittelpunktes über die Erde – in Dezimetern
