Geocache Description:

Fern Glade is home to manferns, myrtles, eucalypts, wattles and a dozen different kinds of orchid. It is also the home to platypus and many different types of birds. There are marked walking tracks, bbq and picnic facilities and it is a very peaceful place to unwind, not that far from the middle of town.

Fern Glade #2 is set in the top section of the Fern Glade Reserve at the start of the track through to Rutherford Road.  The track is classified as a Class 3 and the walk is estimated to take 1 hour, 20 minutes each way.  The track follows the Emu River inland and there is another cache to discover a bit further along.

The cache container is a micro and contains a logbook and pencil only, no room for swaps.
