This is circular walk of 4.5 miles between Botcheston and Desford. It was a favourite walk of my late father but sadly the well marked footpaths seem rarely used now which is a pity as it is a lovely walk which crosses water and a railway line (twice), therefore caution is advised if you have little cachers.
Each cache may contain information which will give the coordinates for the finale, you will find these on the cache itself. Parking is available for a couple of cars at N52 38.380 W001 17.024 or on-street parking in Botcheston Village.
Along the walk there are also two other caches “Buzby says where’s my phone” GC5619V and “LindridgeLane DKP” GC3YNQQ.
You will need to bring your own pen. Caution is needed on the footpath which crosses Rothley Brook and the railway line and there could be animals in the fields at times so please try to keep your dog under control. At the start and finish there are also some road side caches. Please replace the caches as you find them. Thank You.
You are looking for a small container with logbook and pencil.
Don’t forget to collect the information you need for your final quest!!!
Congratulations to Barrie (Bazhornet) for First to Find. Well done and we hope you enjoyed the walk and the series. Pat and Peter
