The Logan Elm State Memorial resides at the location of this cache.
The cache is a simple park and grab, the cache is less than 300 feet or so from the parking area.
This small state park does not get much attention, and it is a beautiful little area with nice picnic tables and a shelter house to have a quiet picnic. There are also several memorial stones with information about Chief Logan, of the Mingo tribe, and his famous speech at the site of the "Logan Elm" tree. The tree unfortunately does not exist any longer, but a new one has been planted in it's stead and is alive and well.
I hope you all enjoy the cache and the park, and learn something about our county's history :)
