This is the first cache placed within the newly opened Four Mile Creek Park just off I-295. The park today consists of a short driving loop and some parking but hopefully, with time, trails and other features will be added. There are also plans to link the park to the Virginial Capital Trail, which will make Four Mile Creek Park a nice starting point to ride the trail.
The cache is located within easy access of the parking areas. It draws its name from seeing a groundhog running through the area as we arrived to place the cache. There is a small token prize for the FTF.
