Geocache Description:

A confluence is a merging of 2 or more rivers or streams, as well as a coming together of people or things.  This area is a confluence in a couple ways. First Wilson Run joins the West Branch of the Clarions River.  Around 1888 the population was 1740 people. A large number of unnaturalized Swedes, and other foreign residents, swelled the total considerably.  The tannery that is no longer present  was the largest leather tanning facility in the world.

This should be a very quick and easy find and is located very close to both State Routes 321 and 219.  The cache container is a small ammo can.

There are some very nice things for the first few to find.

This cache has been placed with the property owners knowledge and permission.

If you would like to learn more about the history of this area, the Wilcox Public Library has not only a lot of information in their historical room but they also have members of the historical group that have a vast knowledge on the subject.
