About this area!

This cache is located at Mill Race Park. This park has been a place my family and I have come often since we live right near by! The barn has been locked for years, but we snagged a few pictures from the inside when the fire department was there for training! If you see a blue minivan in the area, look for the travel bug on rear window! Don't be afraid to look as most neighbors know about geocaching, but please DON"T GO IN THE BUILDING!

The inside is full of stalls. This old horse barn and the 3 sourounding it have been around for a long time. As you can see when you arrive at the cache there are no longer 4 barns! In 2010 during the night the barn to the left of the large barn burned. The fireman could not save it and it burned down creating around 60,000 dollars of loss. The cement platform you see is a small part of the foundation where the building once was. Below is a photo of the barn the next morning!

These historic barns have changed over the years. As you can see the fence has gone, graffiti has come, and windows have been boarded up!

About the Cache!

This cache is located near the barns that I talked about above. This cache is sneaky so you'll have to use those eyes! Please place EXACTLY as how you found it! Please roll the log tight and use the twisty tie! If the log won't come out shake the container upside down or try to fling it out (that works well, but beware the log flies far sometimes XD). Beware of glass, nails and sharp wood shavings around this barn!
