Geocache Description:

Where we used to launch our boats before we bought our cottage.  Could be a park and grab or a good kayak stop/start.  A good starting point to find other Kayak caches in the area. Cache is a peanut jar well hidden.  High muggle area please re-hide.

We spent many weekends in the 80's with the boys here fishing and "wading" because "you're not allowed to swim in the lake". Frank (III) and son Frank (IV) once camped here overnight with the truck camper we used to have. They caough a bunch of fish and left them on a stringer overnight. The next morning they found only heads left as a Racoon had feasted on their catch. Our youngest son Randy (I) was about 6 years old when he got a fishing hook stuck in his arm. We had to drive to Flushing to find a doctor who sent someone over to the hardware store to buy a wire cutter to cut off the point and barb end of the hook.
