If you come to Cuttyhunk, and you know you should, you'll want to walk to the hilltop lookout, a town owned recreational area, and the island's high point. There should be a cache here to encourage you to take the hike, but just a simple one and not too hard to find, so you'll spend your time taking in the view. There's a picnic table, and observation platform atop a WW II era fire control bunker, a couple of towers and a 360 view of Vineyard Sound, Buzzard's Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Come see. BYOP
