I was in Downey, CA recently on vacation and I decided to hit a garage sale next to the hotel where I was staying. Among the usual knickknacks and clothing, I saw a cassette tape. The label on the tape said "Jaymz's Riffs 1981". I asked how much the tape was, and the girl said 87 cents. I talked her down to 42 cents and put the tape in my pocket. When I got back to the hotel, I threw it in my suitcase because who has a tape deck with them on vacation in 2014?

When I got home, I dusted off the old boom box, inserted the tape and pressed play. I couldn't believe what I heard.
